Epic hair pictures right thurr on a really windy day at Tagaytay. Only 5% of my pictures have my hair looking like it wasn’t from a “before” shot in shampoo commercials.
Hollah!:3 So I was gone for some time due to reasons I claim to be true but are not, such as I’m on my thesis revision mode and I’m busy doing what responsible graduating students do. I always keep this heavy guilt on my shoulders, but guess what? I choose to carry it doing fun and useless stuff than just doing what I should do. I hope I don’t regret this too much in the future.
Anyway, going back to the pictures, we just had a field trip to an ethanol distillery at Batangas which I have already visited several months ago. It’s highly annoying that I have to pay for a trip I already went to ago for free, and to think that I DIDN’T EVEN WANT TO GO BACK THERE. I didn’t even breath through my nose the whole time we were there. The place stinks of concentrated alcohol. (>3< ) And you know me, I don’t drink—I don’t even touch alcohol. My face does not absolutely light up whenever I see some. LOL. I didn’t have a single picture of that place, but I have tons from our side trip in Tagaytay, and since I don’t want to start revising my manuscript again, I decided to post some. I might even write a few more entries later, probably one about how my Valentines day went by or about how I need more animu in my life. Again with the promises of other entries I never write!
PS. I’m on the lookout of songs to download. I’ve been wanting to revamp my playlist since forever. Hit me up if you absolutely must tell me about this fabulous song you’ve been shoving down people’s throats for days!:’>
So I went to this Corregidor field trip today for my History II class and verified my very law-abiding persona.
Will blog about three entries later to make up for my very long absence in Tumblr. These blog posts will NOT feature my thesis even though lately, my whole life has been centered on it. There are some things I really don’t like talking about, and it ranks very high on my list. Anyway, I also still have to force my friend Lara (@justsomerandomstranger) to post the pictures from our friend’s prebirthday celebration before I start blogging. I also just updated my About Me page.
I finally found the drive to blog again!:3 It’s been a week since our field trip for our ChE143 class to Tarlac, Pangasinan and Zambales. I promised to blog about it within this week once the pictures are uploaded, but there are so many I don’t know which to pick to post here.(>__<) I’ve decided with this one, since I was able to jump so high. Haha. (Pink arrow points to me =P) I’m with my beloved ENGSOC orgmates here.♥ I’ll just view my friends’ Facebook albums someday if I want to… you know, reminisce and all.
Our trip was two days and one night. Well, there was a chance to extend it to three days and two night since our teacher’s so cool just like that, but some of our classmates don’t have moolah, so.. sayonara Subic.:( The field trip was supposed to have a destination of three power plants, but one plant cancelled so we were able to only go to the San Roque hydroelectric plant and the Masinloc coal power plant. I liked the tour provided by the Masinloc power plant better since they discussed how things work in greater detail, and since they gave me protective glasses as a prize due to my owzum hand-raising skill.(They asked what is their priority and I answered SAFETY FIRST!)
It’s a joke going around that our field trip was not a trip to power plants with a few side trips, but more of a general side tripping with a few power plant visits.=P We also visited the Lady of Manaoag Church, and for the night, we stayed at a resort. Twas a drinking session waiting to happen. My friend Salve brought a Tequila with her and Lester bought a Grand Matador at the resort’s store. The choices were limited, honestly. I think I got drunk, but I might as well have been only tipsy compared to Lester, who was “only joking with us, he’s not really drunk,” repeated 10,000,000 times. My friend Eusy was recording those moments and I swear, she should already post the demn video!:)
The next day, after finishing the plant tours, we returned to the resort and swam. The sand is actually eew diss-guss-ting since it’s not even a light shade of brown—it’s almost black. There’s an island near that has white sand, but due to Kuya Manong Bangkero’s reluctance to find other people to ferry us across, we weren’t able to go to the island. Our time was limited so we can’t exactly wait for a single boat to ferry us. That would be four batches, demnit.(ʘ3ʘ) So we just played Patintero (at Sir Jec’s suggestion) even though it was raining, buried some classmates in profanity-filled designed sand, took tons of pictures and just let the strong waves knock us down. LOL at Sir, his camera wasn’t waterproof yet he just lets it get wet.:)) I worry for the welfare of his camera.
35 people joined the trip, leaving Elbi at 3am early Thursday morning, and arriving at 3am early Saturday morning. The trip was exactly 2 days long, though I sure wished we dropped by Subic.:|
Generally, it was fun: my whole college ‘kada was there and lots of videoke-loving brods and sisses. The moments that were not fun were all caused by the moody me.(;A;)
PS. I made this as short as possible.
